By using Minimal Pair Recorder, you agree to use it lawfully and to take responsibility for the audio you add or share.

Reference audio and consent

Only upload, record, or distribute audio that you own, that is public domain, or that you have permission to use. Learners must voluntarily check the recording consent statement before this app will capture or store a voice take. The product is designed for voluntary language practice, not covert recording or learner surveillance.

Not an assessment

This is a self-comparison practice utility. It does not diagnose speech conditions, provide clinical pronunciation assessment, or guarantee learning outcomes. It deliberately does not provide automatic accent scores.

Free edition and teacher unlock

The free edition includes one saved pack with up to two pairs, full learner practice, export, and QR handoff. The teacher unlock costs $12 USD as a one-time purchase and enables unlimited local packs and pairs. Sociobot/Dodo is merchant of record. Refunds are handled by the merchant and revoke the associated license.

Local data and availability

You are responsible for exporting backups. Browser storage can be removed by device settings, private-browsing rules, or storage pressure. The software is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.
